That must have been a long off-season for Hank. What a tremendous accomplishment. I can still see him rounding the bases ... a clip I never saw live but saw numerous times since then.

Hartford Whalers
Dru, you'll appreciate this. On this day in 1997, the Hartford Whalers played their last game. I was there with my son. Not a dry eye in the house! Moved to NC.
Lots of NHL moves Winnipeg left for AZ, but now a team there again; Nordiques, Atlanta Flames, Rockies (came back as the Avalanche),Minnesota North Stars to name a few.
