I was about to ask what in tarnation are they doing nesting in November! Until you replied later about being Aussie. We're in snow season here in the northern hemisphere. A good spring to you all down there, hopefully uneventful after the horrible fires.

Great shots!!
I love backyard nature! Well, actually ALL nature...haha This summer here there wasn't always a lot of rain, so I converted a few plant pot bases to bird baths initially, then converted a couple of those to bee watering stations. The honey bees loved them, and would patiently wait while I filled them every day and were even patient when I was taking photos.

Amazing sky over one of our hay fields.
I think I might have posted an earlier version of this image, but I messed with it a bit more and am now happier with it.
Took this one with my old Canon G1X that I had converted to infrared last month. I'm still learning everything you can do with it (a lot more than I ever did with IR film for sure!). Anyway, it's always nice when your subject does its job well...haha
