Default Martin LX1 post hole size

Does anyone know the post hole size for a Martin LX1? I want to change them to Gotoh vintage tuners, but need conversion bushings and dont know which ones to get. Im thinking they’re 10mm, but if anyone knows it would be a big help... thanks.

I would guess 3/8". Can you pull a tuner out and measure it? the conversion bushing usually come in 3/8" and 10.5mm.

Ok, got one tuner unscrewed and measured, and it looks like the bushings that come with the tuners will work. The holes are definately smaller than 9mm, so I guess the specs for the modem tuners might be vintage spec... guess we’ll se when they get here...

Ok, got my vintage tuners on. The holes were undersized, so I actually had to reverse drill the 11/32 needed to get the bushings in. There was a little “lip” inside the hole actually that was smaller than 11/32, but after that was removed, everything went smooth. Not the straightest ever, bc the alignment holes for the factory tuners ligned up perfectly with the Gotohs, but they were ligned up on the headstock “factory” straight. I’m liking them though. One on each of my guitars with them is a little stiffer than the rest, but it doesn’t seem to cause any problems, and the hold tune very well.
