Looking for recommendations for a luthier or otherwise qualified tech to do a set up on a new Yamaha acoustic guitar for a 14 year old granddaughter.

It's a decent guitar but I haven't played it since she is 1400 miles away, but it would be good to have a qualified tech have a look at it see if there is anything they can do to help her along her journey.

Thanks!

Bobby at Music Masters on N. Monroe St., highly recommended for set-up and repair, both acoustic and electric.

Might be a bit of a wait, usually 2-3 weeks just because they are in high demand.

They are also a Yamaha dealer.

Smile Luthier in Tallahassee

ROB at RPJ guitarworks. Amazing to say the least. I take anything and everything to him. I've known him since I was a kid buying guitars at Andy's guitars. Andy's closed awhile back but Rob is still THE master repairman of Tallahassee. He works out of his house these days. Give him a ring and he will make that acoustic play just right.
