That Epiphone must be amazing! It’s a single cut full hollow right? Would love to hear you play

UPDATE 2.0
So I couldn’t get comfortable with the Guild Starfire 2’s 9.5” neck radius so I traded it in at my local shop Buck Dancer’s Choice for...
an Eastman T386 Sunburst.

I should have trusted my hands and ears a month ago when I tried it out. The 1.75 nut and 12” radius is perfect for me.

In the end I think I also prefer the higher output of the Eastman pickups too. Though those LB 1s were soooo sweet. So far I’m very impressed with the Eastman. Beautiful finish and set up. I’m a sucker for sunburst and the Ivoroid binding is such a classic touch.

Been playing in DADGAD this week and hope to record a little to this weekend!

That's fantastic! I just checked out the specs on the T386 and it's a great guitar. Lesson learned - always trust your hands and ears.

Haha yes!!! But part of me just had to try the Guild. It truly is a wonderful guitar. Absolutely gorgeous and closer to the Eastman in terms of fit and finish than I expected. To most folks used to playing electric I’m sure it would be easy to adjust between a 12 and 9.5. I’m getting no chores done today playing this thing!

Great choice! I am a fan of Eastman guitars and own several of them.

UPDATE 3.0
I just picked up a used Bugera V5 Infinium to pair with my Eastman. This little 5 watt tube amp is one sweet beast! So easy to dial in some warm cleans with just a little bit of dirt. I haven’t even tried my Pod Go with it yet but many have raved how well it handles pedals too.

I can already tell this going to help me transition from acoustic to electric. So inspiring

Thanks Steve DeRosa for recommending Bugera (in other threads). It’s pretty darn amazing!
