Default well THIS is a new one (ding story)

Beer bottle ding.

Seriously.

Was banished to the basement because of carpet replacement and furniture all moved around. Low ceiling. Noodling around with a beer in hand.

lifted the neck to walk past my work bench DOINK! Beer bottle ding.

Would not have predicted that one.

Not quite the same but a true story.

I left my near mint '52 AVRI Telecaster in a stand in my downstairs office thinking it was safe to go upstairs for a beer. The kids were running around upstairs and I heard a noise. What occurred is the light fixture above it broke and fell on the guitar. It was not fatal, a big mess to clean up, and I smiled thinking the guitar was on its way to being more like a real '52.
