Default NGOTW - Emerald Content...

In case you wondered it stands for New Guitars on the Way, although this thread could also be called Jim & Randy's Great Adventure. Looking at those two side-by-side, I've got to admit that I didn't realize how much bigger the X30 was than the X20...

I've been thinking about how to occupy my time and mind while they are in transit. I might've made a mistake having a look at mine before it arrives - gonna feel like a long wait!

I am curious how big your X30 will feel to you. I agree, it looks big, but I am sure the contours help it sit nicely while playing. I know when I tried eatswodo's X20s, the contour of the body made it feel like a much smaller guitar than it is.

Gonna be a fun day coming soon!

Not me. I just turned 70 and even stopped buying green bananas. Simon asked me last week if I wanted to see a picture of mine - pretty easy decision...

The X30 is a BIG guitar on its own, but feels smaller than a dreadnought when you're playing it. But it's still big to lug around. Same proportion oddity applies to X20.
