Besides the Adamas. . .
. . . do the rest of Ovation guitars, with their Lyrachord (or anything similar, depending on the model) belong in this side of the forum?

You pose an interesting question. It seems to me that this particular forum goes beyond carbon fiber and deals with composite guitars in general. The new Ekoa guitars, for example, certainly fit better here than in a discussion of wooden instruments. I think the Ovation might rightly be discussed in both composite and wooden conversations as a hybrid utilizing the best of both worlds.

Adamas, being constructed mainly of composites certainly qualify to be discussed in this CF subforum. Ovations, being constructed of both wood and composite (Lyrachord) qualify to be discussed in this CF subforum or in the General subforum.
