Default Hawaiian Medley

Two traditional Hawaiian tunes in "F Wahine" tuning (CFCGCE).
Sanoe and Ku'u Lei Awapuhi Melemele.
Arranged by Keola Beamer.

Sanoe means “the mist that drifts over our mountains”. This alludes to the man drifting in like the mist to see his “ipo” (sweetheart). Sanoe is a well known Hawaiian song composed by Queen Liliuokalani who wrote the words and the music.
"Ku'u Lei Awapuhi Melemele' - "Where are you, my beloved?"
Both songs are kind of sappy as is a lot of Hawaiian music.

Collings Dreadnaught German Spruce, Tuned 1/2 down. Recorded with a Baggs pick-up into an amp and a $50 Zoom H1 recorder.

Thanks for listening!

Lovely tone on your guitar.
And this recording is so enjoyable, especially with this nice tuning.
Very well done!

Thank you Derek, Fred, and Remy.
