Default 'Golden Eagle' - guitar & mandolin

Sadly we seem to have lost our last solitary golden eagle in England so since I have just started learning mandolin I thought I would have ago at the tune 'Golden Eagle'. Usually played as a hornpipe but this is slower based on an arrangement by Simon Mayor.

Hope its ok

More than ok. Lovely and thanks. Sorry to hear about the golden eagle. Maybe a program to re introduce them?

Jeff

Hey Phil,

Your sweet phrasing & gentle touch has transcended from guitar to mandolin so beautifully in this piece. ...like a Golden Eagle soaring across the skies of Haweswater.

As a lover of animals, especially marine life & birds, I am so sorry to hear of this. We have Bald eagles here in N.E. Fl and they are so majestic. Golden eagles here are found in the western states and maybe our countries can collaborate in re-introducing this great raptor to the UK.
Thank you mate for sharing this.
