Very cool Shorty. I don't know much about composition but to my ear, in the section from 1:00 - 1:45 there were 3 licks that seemed to repeat a few too many times. I would suggest mixing the 3 up in varying order to make a bit more varied in that section (hope that makes sense). Very cool song, sooooo you've playing that mando 10 years now??!!

I really enjoyed this pace. Your mandolin sounded great with nice rhythm of the guitar. Were there two guitars or just one? Love this, almost got up and did a little diddi!

I'm not sure how your reply here was intended. At first read, it seems ego centric. Perhaps it was tongue in cheek. Difficult at best to determine from a interenet forum. I'm only pointing it out as a matter for clarification. That's all.

I think the repetiveness of the melody, with little elaboration of the melody, is the glaring issue in this composition. Variations on the theme of the melody would bring a continuing interest to the listener.

It's a cool tune, played very nicely. But it is repetitive with, I think, too little variation. In other words, I believe it could be a great tune. It just needs a little more.

Very nice.

You are certainly getting that mando to cook! Nice picking, and sounds like heaps of fun.

His comment was certainly tongue in cheek. Shorty is a fine and accomplished picker but has amazingly only been playing mando for 2 months!

Well I hoped that was the case!

2 months? Wow Shorty, knowing that makes this even more special.
