Default The Loar LH6/700 soft-case - any good?

Hi,

Am currently looking at an LH-650 that doesn't come with a case. The soft-case I've seen in other adds looks quite nice, but is it good enough to try to order one - if that's even possible?

(The Loar company's website doesn't list any accessories, and don't exactly reply by return email either)

Thx!

If "soft case" means the kind of foam case my Loar came in, then it's a very decent case, roughly equivalent to the Travelite line--though my Travelite might be just a tad sturdier than the Loar stock case.

Thanks. Yeah, this one:

(colour aside, it looks a lot like the BAM double case I had for my violins!)

And yes, it looks a lot like those Travelite cases, but given the price those cost I can hardly imagine they'd come with a guitar in the LH-6/700 price range...

The Loar company still didn't answer my query, I fear I'd have to contact a small store who carries their product (= who might be willing to do a one-off order), or the French importer.

Or I might just spring for the dreadnought version of the Ritter RGS7. I just got that one for my reso and it would certainly cover my needs. I like how it's compact, without bulging pouches on the outside that invite carrying things you probably shouldn't (*) and that take up unnecessary space in storage.

*) A tablet, stand or anything other hard and/or heavy on top of the bridge area of my guitar, without a hard shell in between? No thanks!

Those look like a slightly smaller version of Godin TRIC cases. They're bulky, but protect my guitars for all my needs. (I don't fly with guitars)
