Default Finally got it down to two.

After all the guitars that have passed through my hands, I believe I am done. For the few that know me around here, I know you're laughing right about now, but it's true. I have found the two that will (should) last me for the rest of my non professional career. Gibson AJ Gold and Martin OM 18V. I'm smitten with both of these fine instruments. I am satisfied.

That's great. I like how you are satisfied with owning two. I'll take two that I truly love over 20 that are "OK".

Jim, you sure have had some goodies pass through your hands!

I can totally understand your impression of the Martin OM18V. My OM28V is one that I will keep until the end! Fantastic instrument in every way.

Great job. I'm down half over the past year so I can sympathize. Two great guitars by the way.

" I believe I am done" .
Do I detect a crack in this in and out search? If so I do admire the never say never wording. Even more so, I am impressed by your satisfaction with the two winners.

The 2 remaining are awesome.
Wish I could try the kings of your journey.

You just don't seem like the kind of guy who can own just two. Me, I'm fine with two, but you seem to have the bug real bad. And don't ask anyone here for support. We're all compulsive guitar buyers too. If I made a list all I've bought and sold . . . well, best if I don't.

there were 30 of these made by the Gibson Custom Shop in 2008. Spruce top, walnut back and sides. Beautiful sounding and looking guitar.

I like the (standard) AJ a lot and I'd take one over a D-28 all day long. A few years ago I did.

Good for you - enjoy them!

I think I'm done as well.

Except for a 12 fret.

And I would like a Koa (but maybe a koa 12 fret?).

I am partial to black walnut . . .
