Default Lifting bridge issue.

I have a guitar where the bridge is lifting. I can stick a piece of paper between the top and back of the bridge evenly across the entire bridge. It’s not excessively lifting, you wouldn’t really be able to tell unless looking really closely. Does this need to be taken off and fully reglued? Also, any idea how much this typically costs?

Best to have it professionally removed and re-glued - there's a danger it could pull off top wood if left to come off by itself.

Re-glue works best when all surfaces have been fully cleaned too.

Can't help you with cost, sorry.

If its even all the way around it may have been built like that. Some makers like Taylor have a Micro rout around the bridge so it actually lays over the finish a wee bit.

Mirwa has a better explanation
