That is an outstanding guitar in tone and looks. Although its tone may also have something to do with the player.

Certainly the player has a big influence. But this old growth wood has magic. We had one in a couple of months ago, and I was really surprised by the maturity of the tone compared to the same model SCGC with 'normal' Mahogany and Adirondack. If you get a chance to play one don't hesitate. I trust you will be just as surprised as I was.

Thanks, I appreciate the comments! I agree that these old woods, along with the expertise in how best to use them, impart magic. This is a brand new instrument, and yet it's maturity and warmth is so wonderful.
