+ 1 for the Tonedexter, especially for solo performing. I'm always surprised that this doesn't come up more often or earlier in this kinds of discussion. People spend a lot of money trying and retrying pickup and pre-amp combinations in an effort to attempt to achieve what the Tonedexter does without breaking a sweat.

Thanks Captain Jim! 'Preeciate the kind words!! ...your 100% right Cap, folks have to find what works well for them. As I've mentioned, I thought the F1AP in my Martin 000-18 Retro was fantastic and soooo 000-18ish sounding amplified, however, I just like the Tak tone more for what I do and how I play. I also agree with GFIROB that the Tonedexter really can solve a lot of problems for some folks and achieve the "my guitar only louder" sound if that's what your after. Ya gotta give it a go or else ya won't know!

True. My Sunnaudio pre makes the Tonedexter sound even better though.
