Default Battery Power - Do you use straight voltage or inverted A/C?

We have an ongoing series of moderated "social distance" open mic concerts out on a huge lawn where I live. It's BYOE....including your sound system. I've noticed the inverted systems far outperform the straight battery systems at our concerts.

What do you use for battery-powered performances, and why? Have a preference?

I'm thinking of going inverted with my existing Bose stuff, just so I can avoid buying a new system.

All comments welcome...

I use this battery plus inverter, but a recent thread featured a model also available on Amazon with better specs and a full sine wave inverter (IMO as an EE not needed but if you care it has it).

One of these is handy so you know what you really need (you need a lot less than you might think):

This was the inverter from that thread of a few weeks ago. I don't know anyone who has actually tried it, but Amazon returns are pretty easy here in the US.

I have an Epiphone Valve Junior Combo modded to run off a 12AH SLA battery and 'modified sine wave' inverter, all built into the cabinet. It works fine with the MSW inverter. I bought a Li-Ion battery pack inverter to power my Behringer XR12 and TC VoiceSolos, the first I bought has a 'MSW' inverter and was unusable due to the noise it introduced into the system, I returned it and bought another with a Pure Sine Wave inverter which works perfectly. My aim was to have a small, mains free PA system to which end I also now have two Bose S1 Pro powered speakers. It has yet to be used in earnest due to the present situation but the first S1 had proven itself before the UK went into lockdown and now the battery drain issue seems to have been resolved it's probably going to be a nice little rig.
