so beautiful!

Indian Redwood is Chukrasia Tabularis:

Curly Gmelina is Gmelina Arborea:

Spalted Tamarind is Tamarindus Indica:

Flamed Ebony is an Indian Ebony:

All these are local woods in India except for the Euro Maple

I would go with the Indian Redwood (as it should be mahogany-like, yes?) and the flamed Ebony. Both should be gorgeous, I would think.

Karan says the Indian Redwood is very similar to Koa in density and properties. I'm really liking the Ghamar

All gorgeous. But the spalted tamarind really blows my mind - I love the idea of a guitar that looks like it's built from marble!

Yup - that's also killer. Definitely my two favourites! Looking forward to getting my hands on Amrit's Bigfoot at some point in the hopefully not too far distant...!

Can't wait to see Amrit's guitar!

Dustin Furlow came by the house today to play some guitars on the way to a local gig. Here is him giving the Bigfoot a go! Recorded straight to zoomQ2n

Dustin has a great touch! I'll try to get some other videos up, but I'm always battling an infant and a toddler (and usually they win!). Hard to find that quiet time!
