Default GX Player vs GX Performer

hello. does anybody know what the differences there were between the Composite Acoustics GX Player series compared to the GX Performer? i know the player series didnt have as much bling-bling as the performer, but as far as sound, playability, bracing...

Well the playability was the same of course. The player did have less bling, no rosette, lower end electronics, and a gig bag instead of a hardshell case. But the most important difference was that the player version had their lower end bracing, whatever that meant. So supposedly you should be able to hear a difference between the two - but the one time I tried I couldn't really tell them apart. I rather liked the elegantly simple appearance of the player versions better than the performer.
