Great Sitka-Mahogany Strummer......
Still can't believe I got this one (lightly used) for well under $500 last summer.....My Stanford PSD10 dread. It has 2 month old Elixirs on it at the moment. This is a 2 minute video of some samples. Pardon the string squeaks ........

Fine playing! That does have a really nice sound, smooth and kind of mellow (at least how I hear it). Some pretty song, too - numer one and three sound familiar, but can't place them. Sounds really nice with the open strings like that, very full, sweet sound. Never played a Stanford, but will look around - love to try one.

Thanks Shawlie. Only 102 were ever imported into the US and the only available ones are used here and there. There's actually a very nice PSD21 dread (the premier version of the PSD10) on the Blueridge forum for sale at the moment......

This 10 was a really good 1 as far as tone goes. I remember well the day it arrived last summer. I was really impressed. Still am. Thanks again, Louie! |
