Default short blues

Not really meant to be an "instrumental", but I gave up on singing about a year ago and it's not really something my wife would want to sing.

I tried to add some bass and treble solo type of things for interest, but probably still needs some words - otherwise a bit boring. Might try to talk a friend of mine into singing it (but if anyone wants to help out for a little fun, let me know!).

It was much fun trying to make up another song like this, haven't tried for some time. On my Larrivee and washboard, recorded on a Zoom2.

blues

I agree with this 100%. It's amazing the stuff you come up with. Why you're not making a successful living at this, is beyond me (unless of course, you are, then it is as it should be )

Thanks man!! I'm going to begin re-recording some of my older songs using my new gear. I also feel that my confidence on my vocals has been improving. I've only been playing 3 years and writing about 9 months. Thanks again!

Shawlie, you've got this style locked down! I love it! There are some nice tasty licks in there that couldn't be more perfect! You are amazing!

Thanks for the replies!

I don't know - it's getting nice outside and made me want to listen to some of those old, great songs (Fuller, McTell, Blake). They kind of suit the weather/season. And they are always inspiring, so I wanted to try to make a song like that again, too, for some fun.

Oh, yeah - for only playing three years and writing less than one, you're doing some really nice stuff, Ranger! Hope you post more tunes soon.

That was EXCELLENT. You really captured that old-timey ragtime vibe. Nice straightforward recording too! I really enjoyed listening!
