Gibson M6 6string Mandolin (Octave Guitar)

Has anybody here played a Gibson M6? This is the new six string A body mandolin that is tuned an octave up from guitar standard.

I'd like to here some opinions on this instruement, inparticular the fretboard and it's playability.

If there is anybody here from the Stanford area, I did see one listed on the Gryphon Stringed Instrument website.
