My D-13E must require a long reach 5mm truss rod tool

So I try to put a 5mm regular hex wrench to adjust the rod counter-clock wise a bit but it don't fit! Too short! I'm guessing it needs the long Music Nomads one?

I used to own a Fender Redondo acoustic guitar and the truss rod is literally right there, I guess Martin makes it more difficult.

You need a 4-1/2” reach ball-end wrench comme ça, item #6114...

I've just ordered one! Thanks for the kind offering though. I went to Guitar Center in Bloomington, Music Go Round in Burnsville and Minnetonka and and this local guitar place in Minnetonka which I forgot the name. They all don't sell the tool!

Martin truss rods used to be more accessible, but that changed with the adoption of the two-way rods.
