Default American Professional II pickups.

So basically with the II series the V-Mods aren't just V-Mods they're now V-Mod II's.

Has anyone been able to find out anything about what's different about the II's pickups? Different magnet configurations or something like that?

I’ve heard on YouTube, for what it’s worth, that the original vmod prototype was wound a particular way, and through the automation process of making the pickups there was a small difference in how the production pickups were wound. They made a correction to get it more like the original prototype for the II’s. The results have been described as both clearer, more articulate, some have said harsher (I disagree) and yet others have said they found it warmer and fuller. I tend to agree with the slightly more articulate crowd. But in the end, similar.
