Wow, that's gorgeous, Kev! BTW, I'm available for house-sitting duties at any time.

I took this pic in 2016 looking down the alley near London's Athenaeum Hotel.

The double decker bus is traveling down Piccadilly Lane and Green Park is on the other side of the road. On the other side of Green Park is Buckingham Palace.

London is my favorite city in the world and I can't wait to get back there after the pandemic ends.

Good question ... it's a Gazania aka African Daisy.

Great home, inside and out. I like the beam work. Is that a “Russian” enamel stove with an exceptionally long flame/heat path?

No it's German I believe a type of Katchelofen design.

It's a 4 function wood oven stove and heater BUT (we have never used it, as we do not burn wood).

Flame path is small, and is only the size of the lower left hand door..... But yes the heat path starts lower left and goes straight up, as well as vents right and up

So it has a small firebox that sits at the lower left, with a steel griddle/warmer directly above it. Then lower right door is a small oven compartment, with the heat fed from the lower left firebox . Then taller upper right hand portion has a water container and spout for hot water. And the entire unit also works as an area heater

I took this pic of a few years ago just before a gig.

It's famous MEL's Drive-In on Geary ST in San Francisco. If you saw the movie "American Graffiti", you know this place. Incredible shakes/burgers/fries!

I usually don’t process my images in black and white But I thought here it was appropriate.
This is the port of my hometown Hamburg.

Nice. That one random person in a shot often makes all the difference.

It reminded me of one I took on a trip to England in 2016 - this is in Ely, Cambridgeshire, home of one of England's finest cathedrals.
