Default Blue Bayou

This is a cover of a Linda Ronstatdt song called Blue Bayou. The song is a longing one, and I remember working at Circles ( a Brooklyn restaurant) in high school listening to it on the piped in music tracks. It made me long for my shift to be over! Hope you like it.

Sal what great singing and playing here. Perfect range for you. I love this song and have done it myself. Have you heard Raul Malo’s version. Almost as good as yours.

Man you made my day. Thanks!

I just listened to the version you linked to. Beautiful. Same key too. I couldn't sing it in Linda's key.

Nice job on this Sal!

I sure remember Linda Ronstadt and Roy Orbison singing this song. Way back in time...

Circles on the park-side, Bartell-Pritchard square? You’re not a Bishop Ford Falcon, are you?

Well done! As already posted, you hit the sweet spot for your vocals with that arrangement and key. Pretty impressive range and the harmonies were really nice.

I’ll take that as a “no”

When I got my drivers license at 17, I had a lot of fun down by you. Scarlets(later The Brass Knob) was my favorite hang out for quite a while.
