You guys made the right decision with the binding, some of the best I've seen on recent guitars, up there with your Klepper and Jimmy Caldwell's OM-30, which conveniently for you is also for sale at Schoenbergs.

Very nice build! Love the story about the shipwreck spruce, what a crazy coincidence! A guitar builder stumbles upon a shipwreck carrying red spruce billets from C.F. Martin?!?! Just insane!

Awesome looking workmanship!

I believe that I played your guitar at Woodstock. It was one of the best that I played at the show!

Congrats

There's no update on the build, although I think it's progressing.

I did get a chance to play a Circa 000-12 with an Italian spruce top and beeswing mahogany back and sides. It had wonderful projection, clarity, and note separation. Lots of focus and power and super lightweight. While I was playing it, another fellow commented it was the best guitar he played in the shop. When you're in a shop like Schoenberg, that's saying a lot. I thought it was buy-able and wish I had the funds.

Well, I've been wondering about this guitar, Justin. Any news to share?

It's been a while, mostly because of delays on my end. John was kind enough to snap a few photos of the progress on the neck. This neck will have non-adjustable reinforcement.

This one is nearly ready for finish. I love the fretboard inlay, the torch, and the look of the purflings and backstrip.
