Let's hope the Avalanche play more consistent than the temperature swings.

That's the same thing that is happening here as your weather is coming our way. Only warmer overall. But still extreme. We are looking at possible storm damage when it goes through. We hope not but that's something we deal with here.

Pretty normal for us to get fairly big swings (at our elevation and west slope position) was almost 70 F , two days ago, raining now and 37 and predicting snow tomorrow. (probably won't stick ,hope so as I just took the chains and blowers off the tractor and skid steer)...
So I'll be at my home studio desk, mixing audio and editing video, for my next Show and Tell production

My favorites are the storms that come through and drastically change things in mere hours. At least this front will take a day or so for the weather to switch. I recall spring storms where it went from 75F and sunny to 40F and snowing sideways between noon and 3pm!

But yeah, 88F in mid-May is far more unusual than a snowstorm.

Lol, I’m with you Kev. Two weeks ago I drained the gas out of the snowblower and put it in the lawnmower. Then the snowblower went to the back of the shed and the lawnmower moved to the front for the season. After mowing this morning I glanced at the snow shovels in the shed while putting the mower away. It wasn’t a loving glance! I think whatever we get should melt of pretty quick so I’ll just stay inside and play music till it does.

I’m in a sporting clay tournament on Sunday down near Castle Rock. Forecast is for mid 30’s and 15-20 mph winds…should be interesting!!

I'm a bit north and west of Mr. Paul, and we are looking at 5-6". Bring it on, I say, we really need the moisture.

I see that RMNP is supposed to get 2 feet or so. And they just finished plowing Trailridge Road! Oh well, it should melt soon enough.

From the Denver & Front Range Weather Facebook page:

"NOON check of the radar showing that snow levels are lowering and rain is starting to mix with or change over to wet snur in portions of the Denver metro, and along the Palmer Divide."

It is snuring here right now!

And here is a photo of my deck at 0630 on the 21st of May.

About 3x what was forecast, but it's all good. We really needed the moisture.

I'd love to live in the mountains, but the long winters scare me. I do plan on heading to the mountains in a couple of weeks though.

That is a lot of snur!

Where are you? We have about 2-3” not sticking to pavement in the Denver proper area. Snowing pretty steady still.

Jamolay, I am in the Arkansas River valley just west of BV at el. 8500 ft.

Here's a photo I took last Wednesday at our golf course. Big difference!
