My dad was friends with Grisman in middle school in Passaic, NJ a long long time ago.

He never got into Bluegrass/The Dead but his younger son became a big fan

And here I am at the record store again around '84 or so. Where did that mop of hair go??? I had just put up the Windham Hill display - (right next to the AC/DC clock

Tony, Wyatt and Mark Schatz in the Detroit area around '91.
