Thats sad, mixes there are usually great. Nickel Creek at the Beacon a couple of years ago is still the best sounding show I've ever seen.

went see a show in Madison Sqaure Garden back in the 90s. It was Jethro Tull with an opener of White Snake.
White snack had Wall to Wall amp cabinets stacked why up high. I had to walk out is sounded so bad When Jethro Tull came on each person had one amp with a microphone in front of the cabinets. It was sonic bliss. Form the Garden that was a fantastic achievement.

I was also at that Beacon show on the 17th and did not notice bad sound. I was seated all the way on the right side about 6 rows back so pretty much in front of the main. In fact I was afraid I was going to get blown out but was pleasantly surprised how good it was and not too loud. I wonder if your seat was right in Val's beam. I was only getting what came out of the mains due to my mediocre seat. The next night I went to Springsteen at the Kerr and that sound was over-the-top awesome. Now I want a Tak!
