2011 Cervantes Crossover 1R
Selling a 2011 Cervantes Concert Crossover 1R, Avant-Garde Series nylon string guitar. Spruce top with beautiful Indian Rosewood back and sides. I purchased this guitar several months ago from a well-established AGF member and would love to keep it, but my wife and I have downsized, and I need to sell several guitars to maintain domestic tranquility.
The guitar is in very good condition with no structural issues. There is, however, some noticeable finish checking on the top. (According to a previous owner, this has been stable since at least 2016.) There are also a few dings and general wear marks consistent with its age. Despite these, the guitar presents nicely (see pictures) and is a joy to play, especially if you’re coming from a steel-string background. Nut width is 1 7/8” and the guitar has the traditional 650 mm scale. The neck is a flat D shape that is narrower and thinner than a traditional classical guitar neck – extremely comfortable to fret, even with significant left-hand stretches. And, unlike a traditional classical guitar, the neck is radiused. It also has a 12-hole bridge. Fret markers were added to the side of the neck by a previous owner. Comes with a hard-shell Humicase in very good condition. Newly strung with Savarez Medium Tension strings. The guitar is now located in southern Connecticut for anyone who would like to check it out in person. Price is $1,525 plus shipping (CONUS) and any payment fees. Thanks for looking.

Bumping this up for the holiday. This is a great option for someone looking to get into a nice nylon string guitar with a lot of familiar acoustic flat-top characteristics vis-a-vis a traditional classical guitar: narrower nut, radiused and more slender neck, cutaway and fret markers. Selling only because we're moving to a smaller space. Thanks for looking.
