Default What custom guitar commissions are you expecting delivery on in 2022?

I’m hoping for a Ryan Nightingale in Maple/Lutz spruce, and a S. Kinnaird in Mahogany and Port Orford Cedar.

Have a Kathy Wingert Model E with Brazilian / Spruce in progress.
Body is nearing final sanding and the neck is being craved.
Has some custom inlay work and a tobacco burst top.

That should be a wonderful build. Kathy makes an incredible guitar (as you obviously know!) I'd like to see some pics when the time comes. Congrats

I’m late to the party. I’m awaiting a Circa 00 cutaway. Indian Rosewood with Red Spruce top. I met John in 2011 at a festival he was displaying guitars at. I immediately fell in love with his guitars and build style. Have wanted one ever since ,and I finally got on the list. Hoping for end of the year, but I will be stoked whenever it’s ready!

Also late to what is clearly a very busy year for the custom shop sub-forum.

First up is a Michaud OO-R in Pernambuco / Swiss, NGD still in 2022-Q1.

I now have a Dake Traphagen build scheduled to begin around May and I will do a thread once it starts. I ended up switching the order of a couple builds recently. Planning to have Dake build his Concert model (15.5" lower bout), which is similar to a modern OM size and shape, in a 12 fret configuration. Torrefied Carpathian Spruce/Snakewood.

Fantastic choice. My Wingert E is a truly phenomenal guitar; I hope you will do a new guitar thread when you get yours.

The new Wingert E is at the finish shop, getting closer!
I will submit Photos once it arrives.
I have a 2008 Wingert E Brazilian with Italian Spruce that has a repaired crack on the top. It is a wonderful guitar but the crack just drives me crazy!
Had to order a replacement with some minor inlay work.

We'll see if she makes it in 2022, certainly should be by early '23

[Edit] Expected Dec '22 is now official, albeit, inherently mutable :-)

Santa Cruz 1934 OM with blue pāua decoration @rosette and back strip.
