This attenuator works very nicely for low and medium output amps, with continuous attenuation, plus treble boost for high-end drop-off at higher levels of attenuation (I did not find I needed this at the volumes I played) and selectable output for 4 8 16 ohm speakers. Perfect for my 12 Watt Princeton Reverb clone, with excellent tone at various levels of attenuation.
