My First Post - Crazy, Gnarls Barkley Cover
Hey there!
This is my first post to the forum. I'm a long time acoustic guitar player but only recently really got back into playing. Last summer I enrolled my boys in guitar lessons and instead of sitting around for an hour waiting for them to finish their lessons I decided to go ahead and enroll myself in some voice lessons while I was there. I think I was probably the oldest student of the entire school but I had a lot of fun and learned quite a bit in a couple of months. Here's a quick and dirty cover of Crazy by Gnarles Barkley that I made. Thank you guys! You're all too kind.
I'm going to try to fish out some of my old "pre-lesson" recordings for comparison. I still can't sing without headphone monitoring + accompaniment. I'm not sure if it's just a matter of more practice/training or if my ears are just going bad with age.
