NGD: Greenfield Concert Classical
Greetings!
After 4+ years of waiting, this week I had the pleasure of spending the day at the 'Woodnest' (Greenfield HQ) to collect my Concert Classical guitar. I've been a huge fan of Michael's work for years, having previously ordered a GF & a G2.2, with a G3 on the way later this year. His classical model has been the product of years of research & it has some pretty cool features, including: - Arched back - Elevated fretboard - Adjustable action (string height can be raised / lowered at full string-tension!) - Classical-style armrest The woods are a crazily-engineered EIR back & sides, a wafer-thin Moon Spruce top, BRW bridge. Here's a little test video to demonstrate its sound. I'm a little rusty & this instrument is my motivation to de-rust my classical playing. Enjoy! BRAVO!!!
What wonderful wonderful playing, and song...and your Greenfield truly IS a Stellar sounding instrument...for my ears and tastes, one of the very best I have heard. Whether steel string or classical, Mr. Greenfield really creates a glorious tone and dynamic response in his guitars...and very very consistently. Congrats and enjoy...and post more videos with it!!! duff Be A Player...Not A Polisher |
