Default Nylon strings basses only sets?

Hi,

As most nylon stringed guitar players know, the 3 wound bass strings E, A and D often wear out much quicker than the plan trebles due to the fret friction which damage the metal of the basses. Since the core is still nylon or a composite the winding often start to separate fron the core.
Time to buy a new set. But, the treble strings are still fine.
Is there any brand that sells the basses only as a set of 3 or do i have to purchase individual strings?
I need high tention ones..

Yes, but not all dealers carry them. Strings by mail is probably your best source, just click on the brand you want and see, I know LaBella and Savarez do, because I've used their bass sets in the past.

Go here for many bass sets in various tensions. The link shows you the HT ones:

If you need info on any of these just ask them. They are very quick to respond.

I've found that some bass strings last much longer than others, and that D'Addario Pro Arte basses last quite a long time- if their sound suits you.

I always find it frustrating that Hannbach Goldin stings come as a full set, or the three trebles - it is not possible to buy just the bass strings, which obviously die before the trebles.

Great strings, lovely and warm, ideal on a lattice guitar, but expensive, especially given the above.

Great, thanks Rudy and Carey. I'm in the UK - delivery looks cheap, but customs may bump up the price. A full set in the UK costs £29. I still can't find the bass sets in the UK sadly.
