One of these days I need to make a trip to the Piney Woods and find out what I’ve been doing wrong all these years.

I’m pretty sure I’ve said this exact same thing to Steve before but with Spicewood instead of Pineywoods.

I resawed an OM set of Sinker Mahogany and it didn't look like that. It was pretty, but not like that!
Hi David, it’s nice to have you drop by, and thanks for the kind word.

Well you do need to come by our shop sometime, Jimmy. It would be an honor to have you visit.

We would like to share a guitar that will be delivered this weekend. It’s a 00 with bearclaw Sitka and a wild set of African Ebony. The rosette is spalted maple (uncolored) and Macassar Ebony peghead, fretboard and bridge.

Thanks for looking and I’ll be posting the video soon.

A big plus one from me on that! A "wild set of African ebony" indeed. I must say there is something very special about what Stephen and Ryan do with ebony.

It is a special material, and we’re fortunate to have had some nice sets come our way. Thanks Boom!

Hey Jeff, I’m glad you like it. Can you imagine, this was once considered a cosmetic defect. Should have bought those sets back in THAT day.
