I see. As Kev says, you can even put a bar on one of those short stands, and for grins I just tried out two fairly heft LDCs on mine (Shure KSM44 and 3U Warbler) and it seemed plenty stable.

It can be a pain to swap gear, but trying to have 4 mics set up at once seems like a bigger pain to me, especially in a cramped space. I'd just have one small stand & bar for each pair--one for SDC and one for LDC--and swap them out when I wanted different mics. Or even just two bars, and swap the bars.
