During a recent deep dive into the internet’s offerings of ukulele finger style arrangements I came across a gentleman in the Netherlands named David van Ooijen. He is an excellent guitarist and ukulele player. His website has a vast offering of guitar and ukulele arrangements in standard notation and tablature. Some of these are free and for the others a donation of 2€ (2.17$) is required. These funds go to support a nonprofit organization- theukulelkidsclub.
Anyway, I was intrigued by the the “classical music” arrangements. The ukulele sounds, to me, very lute like in his hands. I’ve downloaded a number of arrangements and will give it a try. I wanted to make those who may be interested aware of the resource. All the best, Tom PS- I have no affiliation with Mr van Ooijen- other than being a customer. This is his website: https://meesterdavidgitaar.wordpress.com/about/ |

Ondrej Sarek out of the Czech Republic also has some interesting publications for such music.
His prices are reasonable. Available on Amazon. I don't know where else. I've purchased a few items of his and have been happy. |

Thanks Mjh42.
I’ll look for his books. Tony Mizen also has a few well regarded books with similar material ( From Lute to Uke, The Baroque Uke, The Renaissance Uke ). Also, the Classical Uke Anthology by Andrea Gaudette seems to be a popular choice. Best, Tom |
