More noise than the original?

Have the transmitter plugged into your last pedal instead of the guitar. Or use the effects loop feature if it works how you want.

I absolutely love the unit but it needs more work IMO.

I’ll talk about it at length on my YouTube livestream tomorrow. I just wanted to give my initial impressions here for those that are interested.

Any dropouts are unacceptable. I assume you were pretty close to the Bose when the dropouts occurred. Maybe they’re using Line 6 wireless. Lol

Yes I was next to it. It dropped out completely twice in a one hour gig.

That's unacceptable. I was planning to purchase the wireless modules this week.

It will be interesting to see if I get any dropouts during my livestream today.

Is it possible there was any frequency interference? I ask bc I tried a wireless system years ago and it worked great for awhile, until I did a show on a yacht! Every time they’d key up the radio, my sound would cut out!

Yes that is probably what it was but it's not acceptable.

Watched and he used the wireless modules, but it's around 12 mins. and didn't get much into the details.

I dipped in and he was singing and playing an acoustic guitar with a not great pickup. The first segment after he unboxed was with his electric guitar, didn't sound half-bad and I don't know what else may have been in the signal path--but I don't think electric guitar is where an S1 Pro, plus or otherwise, would shine. Props to the guy for getting it all out there though, great to see it.

I'm hoping my post didn't seem negative as that wasn't my intention. I enjoy many of his vids!

It’s worth remembering that demos and especially store demos probably won’t highlight bugs or issues. Just trying to be realistic and I hope my findings can help Bose improve the product as it really is cool.

Same here, I end up on his site from time to time, I'm throwing no shade his way! Main thing is it's great to see interest and excitement about a new product.
