I love Air Supply, Wonderful Tonight, More Than Words AND Muskrat Love. Struggling to think of a syrupy love song that I don't like.

And I'm with you 100% on that CdB song - worse song he ever recorded!!! I'll add this one, though I have to confess that some days, I quite like it, and enjoyed it on the tours Marty did with JS before he died. The story goes that he wrote it as he did to make Grace have to sing 'Baby' so many times. ![]() |

What is up with the Wonderful Tonight haters?
I like the song and my lady requests it often. |

It’s a typical syrupy love song with the gratuitous, whimpy-sounding lyrics and a slow plodding melody. As a for instance, if you compare it to the song “Something” by George Harrison, it doesn’t hold up. That’s a non-syrupy love song, powerful and moving. YMMV.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned the worst one of all time: You Are So Beautiful, by Joe Cocker. I hate it even more than Wonderful Tonight.

A lot of my most hated have been mentioned (that muskrat chirping solo is embarassing). But I'll name part of a song I otherwise like a lot: the ending on Knights in White Satin by the Moody Blues. When the singer starts howling "Oh how I love you" at the end it makes love sound like the worst affliction known to man. Maybe it is, I don't know . .

I hate them both, in part because they’ve become so sacrosanct. And because both sets of lyrics are clotted and clumsy. “You know I believe and how?” I dislike overrated things. |

It's interesting... I have trouble thinking about music I don't like. I just put it out of my mind and never can find it again.
I do remember Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, I suppose because for a while it seemed to be the definition of "bubble gum." I had forgotten how bad this song was... It's interesting that they could play the guitar well enough to change key in the middle of the song. ![]() - Glenn

Believe it or not, these guys or at least a couple of them, maybe three are still performing under another name. Saw them a few times. They do 60’s covers and they are pretty dang good. Hey …they had their 10 minutes of fame. They live about 20 minutes from where I live.

Though marketed as a band, it would be more accurate to say that the name "Ohio Express" served as a brand name used by Jerry Kasenetz's and Jeffry Katz's Super K Productions to release the music of a number of different musicians and acts. The best known songs of Ohio Express (including their best scoring single, "Yummy Yummy Yummy") were actually the work of an assemblage of studio musicians working in New York
