Up for sale is my 2022 Martin 000-28 Custom Authentic Aged with Ambertone finish. $SOLD plus shipping and any payment fees. I’m not interested in any trades.
It’s a light guitar at just over 4 lbs and is very responsive with good bass for its size. It has a short scale mod-V neck with an adjustable truss rod in it. The fingerboard edges are rolled, and it’s very comfortable and easy to play. It’s essentially a rosewood version of a 000-18 Authentic 1937 with a thinner neck and aged finish. The setup is good and the saddle is tall. The stage 1 aging results in finish crazing on the body, heel, and headstock. I tried to take one picture with the right lighting and angle to capture that. There is one line in the finish on the point of the V near the 5th fret that can be felt if you run your fingertip along the V. I’m not sure if this is from a capo applying too much pressure or if it’s a non-intentional result of the aging process. It was that way when I got it. I don’t feel it when I play. It’s difficult to photograph, but there's a high-res pic of it in the Google Drive link below. The only other cosmetic issue is a small indentation near the nut in the headstock that I presume is from a capo. It’s pictured, too, in the Google Drive folder I link to. The most important specs are: East Indian Rosewood back and sides Adirondack Spruce top Thin vintage gloss finish with Stage 1 Aging 1 3/4 inch mod V neck 24.9 inch scale 2 5/16 string spacing 1/4 forward-shifted, scalloped authentic bracing Higher res versions and many other pics on Google Drive in this folder See the model's page on the Martin site for complete specs ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

@Hoink, yes, this model has an adjustable truss rod. It's essentially got a modern Martin mod-V neck with most everything else having Authentic specs and the aged finish.

These are fabulous guitars. One of the most comfortable necks and great articulation. Definitely my mainstay instrument and this is a very good price. GLWS.

Chris was kind enough to send me a sound sample of this one, and oh man, somebody needs to snatch this up asap. It’s a beauty. I would have bought it myself if I hadn’t stumbled into a killer deal on a new one. Somebody’s going to be very happy with this.
