Custom Tele Shaped Guitar

This Tele shaped guitar is built from new parts I acquired in 2009. It was carved, finished, and assembled December, 2009 - March, 2010 by luthier, Tim Thelen, owner of Bilt Guitars, a Des Moines, IA custom lutherie.

Here are the specs:
**Warmoth single piece Swamp Ash body blank, hand carved by Tim, with belly and forearm cuts.
**Rounded body edges.
**String through the body.
**Honey tint body finish in Nitrocellulose.
**Tortoise pickguard.
**Warmoth "59 roundback neck" and fingerboard in nicely figured Birdseye Maple.
**Fender Custom Shop "Fat 50s" pickups.
**G&L bridge with brass saddles.
**Sperzel locking tuners.
**Reversed control plate with 5 position switch.
**Dunlop straplocks.
**As new SKB TSA "chainsaw" shaped case.
**Weight is 7 pounds, 11 ounces


The guitar is as new except for a couple of small dings in the belly cut and some minor Nitro wear on the bottom back edge. Both are so minor they will not photograph.

It's a nice player with a good range of sound possibilities.
