2015 Mike Long HD-18
For sale is my 2015 Mike Long HD-18.
This is essentially a Pre War style D-18 with the addition of diamond and square inlays on the fretboard and a great looking herringbone with black binding on the body. The guitar is very lightly built with scalloped, forward shifted bracing and a beautiful Adirondack spruce top. The finish is very thin, and the top has darkened beautifully with the aging toner. The back and sides are dark stained Mahogany. There is some finish checking to the right of the bridge, and left of the neck, and a small shadow from where the bridge has been adjusted for intonation. There are no dings or cracks, and the guitar is in very good condition overall. The nut width is 1 11/16” and the neck profile is a very comfortable medium C shape. This is a remarkable sounding guitar, that will keep up, or surpass any pre war style dread out there in the tone department, and for a fraction of the cost. Mikes guitars aren’t as common as other boutique builders, but they have a solid reputation as great ‘old’ sounding instruments. Comes with TKL hard shell case. Please email me for more pics tmtayl at yahoo dot com. 1600.00 Shipped to Can/US. Thanks for looking. https://m.imgur.com/gallery/JAgz99Y Last edited by flatfoot; 08-23-2018 at 07:16 AM. |

Pic
Are there more than just the one pic? If so, how do you get to it on that page? The tops Adi; what about the back and sides?
Thanks and GLWTS |

bberry - thanks for your post. I thought I had edited it to say mahogany back and sides, but have now, as well as added an email address for pictures.
