000C12-16E Any reviews on this guitar?
Has anybody done any reviews on this guitar? 12 fret nylon all wood guitar for just under $2000.00, sounds like an improvment over the 000 CE Nylon!

Seems like the new nylon Martin is slow to find it's place in todays market!

Yeah--not sure what the niche is for these. The Martins don't really work well for straight up classical guitar in terms of tone. The dimensions are also a bit outdated for many players. Long scale length and narrow nut. So sort of a crossover, but not really. With so many options on the market for both standard classical guitars and crossovers, I just don't know where these Martins fit in.

For me, and I've demo'ed a couple 000-ce nylons, they are more of a jazzy new wave guitar. Easy on my small hands, I don't have to stretch to reach 3 frets.
The long scale for me has kept me in Taylors Nylon series corner. The smaller body and short scale length of the Grand Concert Nylons fit me better, and both the Taylor and Martin nylons seem to have the same tonal qualities. So for me the Taylors have the edge in playability. I would much rather have the older Taylor NS32-CE over the new 312-CEN, and 000C12-16E Martin, all with the same tone woods.
