What a great thread!
My first electric was a "Series A" I got in 1987. It was my main guitar for 1.5 years before I got my BC Rich Warlock. I still have it but it doesn't get played. Pic was taken in my guitar room in my old house |

My first was a 1967 Fender Musicmaster II with rosewood fingerboard and a sparkly pickguard.
God, I hated that guitar!!! I would play (rich) friends' Strats and wonder why I could never get that tone. After two LONG years I sold it to buy an Aria (Japanese manufacturer) Strat copy. That was a 1000% better guitar and I played it for 6 years until I got a (genuine) Gibson SG standard.

A 1963 Danelectro shorthorn. White 2 pickups, chicken head knobs - traded it a year later for a cherry red Ampeg/Burns 'wild dog'. Wish I had either of them now!

My first electric is this Harmony BobKat circa 1966. I was nine years old when my father brought it home one Friday night. I just recently sourced parts for the tuners and cleaned it up a bit. Those gold foil D’Armond pick ups sound great all these years later. Action is better than it has any right to be. Still fun to play.
