Smile New Gig Bag Day (Amazon Warehouse Deals)

Heya all!

I know a lot of yall aren't fans of gig bags but... I just had to share my excitement over this steal of a deal I got from Amazon Warehouse Deals. I took a big chance ordering a Mono M80 OM that was described as "Used - Acceptable" with "small cosmetic damage or defects on the top and LARGE cosmetic defects or damage on the front and sides."

Cost = 140 CAD shipped (105$ U.S.) in Canada a new mono m80 cost 375$ with tax....

Well it arrived this morning and I cannot for the life of me see any cosmetic defects or damage other than the fact that the front pocket was smooshed in a little bit and that the side handle is a little less rounded than on my other M80.

It still had the tags on it and everything. Considering the horror stories I've read online about Amazon Warehouse Deals even when ordering things in "like new" condition, I am more than pleased by this virtually new gig bag!

Here it is!

Thanks for sharing. As one who doesn't fly and doesn't require that level of protection, I'm a big fan of gig bags...

Nice deal on a nice bag. I've bought a whole bunch of Amazon Warehouse items. The key is to carefully read the descriptions. I've only had a single issue and they took that back on a return so no problems.

Nice score! I've used heavily padded bags like that with a Telecaster for a few years and have had no issues. Mono makes great pricey stuff. Very pleased with the Mono pedalboard I've used for some time.

Congrats - I'm jealous!

Wow! That's quite a deal. These are great gigging gear. I've gigged with two of these for several years now; one for acoustic an the other for electric.
