Default Carbon Fiber Sharing Thread

We get so, so many threads about people wanting to audition carbon fiber guitars and others willing to share their instruments. Unfortunately those threads are all over the Carbon Fiber subform on AGF. I thought it might be helpful to have all carbon fiber sharing posts in a single thread.

It would be great to keep this thread strictly for use as a sharing thread so please keep extraneous posts elsewhere.

I have an Emerald Amicus, an Emerald X20-12 and an Emerald X20 that I'd be willing to share and I live outside Charlottesville, VA.

Minneapolis, MN - southwest metro thereof.

I have 3 Emeralds - an Amicus, an X20, and an X20-7 - which I’m quite happy to show off to anyone who’s interested.

Be warned though - 3 out of the 4 people who tried the X20 ended up buying one

South of Seattle. Currently have an X-20 and a Journey OF660, which you're welcome to try if you're in the area.

Then I must be the hold-out. However, that is only because I already have my McPhersons. Honestly, I could be perfectly happy with either the McPherson or Emerald. Both are fine instruments and (in my opinion) equals (different in their own ways, but equal in quality). I think they are both in the same general cost ball park too.

To the OP, I live in the northeast Minneapolis area and have both the McPherson Sable and Touring.

Also in the Columbus Ohio area, just outside of Dublin. I have an X-20. Likely you'll be a better player and I can hear more of it's abilities. [emoji16][emoji41]PXL_20220210_012508094.jpg

Is that real inlay or stickers? Looks very cool.

I'm curious about how one would setup these meetings? I'm a bit nervous about something like this. I tend to be overly cautious, and I wonder what would happen in the event of damage?

I'd think it would be like a Craigslist sale - meet in a public spot - but it's really up to the individuals involved...
