Default Drop D: The Skeleton Key

I recently visited the Charlotte and Davidson area and also have a brother living in Chapel Hill. Lovely country, though a bit humid for me.

Dropped D is nice rich and harmonious tuning. Ran across it fairly often in classical guitar music. I wrote one tune in dropped D, "Taffy", in a sort of slow blues style.

Yes, thanks for sharing. I have a couple of fingerstyle pieces that I wrote in Drop D quite a long time ago, without really knowing what I was doing. I might revisit this tuning. I always liked the sound and feel of it.
