Default Dangling Conversation - Simon and Garfunkel cover

This is a quick iPhone recording of my Halcyon 00-NL guitar. Lutz spruce over rosewood. Please excuse the flubs.

One of my favorite S&G songs, Roger. Nice job on a fairly difficult song.

Well done!

Well done Roger. I concur with Glenn in the difficulty as well...

Great vocals. And this model has a great mellowness to it.

Thanks fellers, for the positive comments.

JR, the Halcyon is truly one of the best sounding guitars I’ve ever owned (more than 100 over 30 years). It sounds absolutely huge in spite of the smaller 00 Lucas configuration.

I am in the process of selling most of my dreads because this guitar fills that need very well.

That was really enjoyable, Roger! Great vocal and guitar work!!
I can often get lost in a melody and lose the lyrics of a song, but your post made me concentrate on the brilliance of Simon's lyrical creation. It's really a special classic in all ways.
Best,
Fred

Thank you Haasome and Fred.

Yes, Fred, these lyrics are particularly poignant as I feel they paint a rather sad and lonely existence for the couple in the song. It seems they are playing the part of being a couple, but are not really connected...rather superficial, as the song suggests. Kind of sad.

Paul Simon could truly draw you into the scene he set with his lyrics.
